Groupe Premium announces the acquisition of a majority stake in Familiance, a wealth management and family office firm based in Lyon.

This operation marks a further step in the development of the Premium CGP division, with its first establishment in the Lyon region and the confirmation of its ambition for territorial growth.

Founded in 2017 by Étienne de Timary, Familiance is a wealth management and family office firm based in Lyon. The firm specializes in supporting high-net-worth and business clients with all their structuring, management, and transmission needs. The firm develops long-term expertise to serve clients keen on sustaining and passing on their entrepreneurial successes.

Its high-end positioning, local roots, and the strength of its teams make it a recognized player in the market. Familiance is experiencing sustained growth and a strong ambition for development, which Groupe Premium will help support.

Groupe Premium has established itself as one of the leading players in wealth management in France, relying on an integrated platform and a model based on quality advice, client proximity, and operational excellence.

This operation is based on our three fundamental pillars: the preservation of identity, the autonomy of the integrated firm, and the maintenance of the entrepreneurial spirit; it is part of a dynamic of scaling up and territorial reinforcement.

The acquisition of a stake in Familiance constitutes the 30th external growth operation carried out by the group’s CGP division, illustrating the continuity of its strategy and its ability to support entrepreneurial firms in their development.

Lyon, France’s 3rd largest city, is a key territory in Groupe Premium’s development strategy, at the heart of one of France’s main economic hubs, characterized by a true entrepreneurial history. In this context, wealth management issues require structured, long-term support. This relies both on a deep understanding of the local market, embodied by Familiance’s expertise and local roots, and on the power of a leading wealth management platform, Groupe Premium, capable of providing comprehensive solutions and supporting projects in all their dimensions.

Olivier Farouz, Chairman and Founder of Groupe Premium: “This operation marks an important step in Groupe Premium’s trajectory. Our establishment in Lyon reflects a clear objective: to strengthen our presence in major French economic hubs by relying on locally recognized teams. The association with Familiance illustrates our ability to combine the power of a structured wealth management platform with the essential field expertise for long-term advice.”

Rachel de Valicourt, CEO of Premium CGP: “The integration of Familiance into Premium CGP is fully aligned with our strategy: to build a solid, entrepreneurial wealth management division rooted in the regions. Alongside locally recognized teams, we are strengthening our ability to offer long-term wealth management support, combining proximity, expertise, and the power of a structured platform.”

Etienne de Timary, Chairman and Founder of Familiance: “Joining Groupe Premium allows us to open a new phase of development for Familiance, while remaining faithful to our DNA and our advisory approach. We chose Groupe Premium because it has established itself as the most efficient group, driven by sustained internal growth and the independence it grants to each firm that joins it. The group’s support thus gives us the means to accompany our clients over the long term, with expanded solutions, while maintaining the proximity and deep knowledge of the Lyon market that are our strengths.”
